Artisans Corner

Designed and built Artisans Corner, a digital marketplace designed to connect traditional, local craftsmen with a global customer base. The platform allows creators to easily digitize their inventory and manage custom storefronts. Focuses heavily on accessibility and mobile usability.

The Problem Solved

Helps rural and local creators digitize their inventory, gain visibility beyond their immediate physical location, and easily list handmade products online with zero setup overhead.

Challenges Faced

Creating an interface simple enough for non-technical artisans was a primary challenge. I solved this by developing a wizard-based onboarding UI with progressive multi-screen routing, powered by React and Zustand for state management, styled with a mobile-first approach in Tailwind CSS.

Artisans Corner sets itself apart by hosting standalone micro-portals for individual sellers under a centralized marketplace. Features include an origin-based search filter enabling customers to explore crafts by geographical region, and a lightweight catalog manager designed specifically for slow mobile internet connections.
